FOUNDER'S BIO

Hi! I'm Robin Wheeler Harvey, a certified early childhood educator with specialized training in teaching kids how to read in a fun, engaging manner. With a master's degree in reading instruction from Concordia University and a proven track record of success, my students consistently achieve significant goals in phonemic awareness, fluency, and comprehension. I have more than 20 years' experience as a classroom educator-mainly at the early childhood level. Utilizing manipulatives and activities to integrate learning through play is especially effective as I build upon children's natural desires. Having taught various grade levels, I have experienced a myriad of learning styles and ability levels.  Wholeheartedly, I believe that each student can become a confident, fluent reader, and I am dedicated to helping every one of them achieve their goals. My one-on-one tutoring is uniquely tailored for each child's needs.
